Kwon Ji-Yong, under the stage name G-Dragon, was born on August 18th, 1988. At the age of 8 GD was part of SM Entertainment, but shortly after that he joined with YG as the leader of the boy band GD. He is a rapper, singer, arranger, composer, record producer, and even a model. During Big Bang’s break GD went to produce and release his first mini album called Heartbreaker in 2009. It sold over 200,000 copies and won many awards.
In 2012 GD and band member TOP joined together to create a album called GD&TOP. This album had three hit singles and become a top charter very quick. In 2012, Ji-Yong released another mini album called One of a Kind. This album contained 3 songs called Crayon, One of a Kind, and That XX. Each one a major hit.
